Become new YoRC team member

At the heart of the European Zebrafish Society (EZS) lies the Young Researcher Committee (YoRC), established in 2021. Comprising early-career zebrafish researchers, our committee is dedicated to empowering and supporting early-career scientists within the EZS and worldwide zebrafish community.

What drives us?

Connection

We strive to foster connections among students, postdocs, and early-career professionals, bridging gaps between academia, industry, and the broader scientific community.

Engagement

Our mission is to actively involve members in the EZS, providing a platform to share ideas, insights, and visions for the future of zebrafish research.

Opportunity

We aim to maximize the benefits of EZS membership for early-career researchers, enabling them to make the most out of their scientific journey.

RECRUITING:

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity! The Young Researcher Committee (YoRC) of the European Zebrafish Society is seeking two new members to join our team.

We kindly ask you to share this invitation with your peers and especially with PhD students and Postdocs.

Joining the YoRC offers a unique chance to contribute to empowering early-career researchers in the zebrafish community, while also fostering personal and professional growth. It’s a great way to develop valuable skills, build meaningful connections, and make lifelong friendships.

New YoRC members will participate in monthly meetings to organize initiatives that support early-career researchers working with fish models. These initiatives include planning meetings, workshops, social events, and webinars.
